This new Interpol cover from Day Wave and Hazel English has a style that walks the line between early 80's sophistiwave and early 90's shoegaze. It's like Spandau Ballet meets Lush and is a great, chill take on the original.

Holy Oysters have an odd origin story (literally about a vision of Holy Oysters) but don't take themselves too seriously. Let this track be a calm, yet funky lead-in to your weekend.

A shiny new single from MGMT, released in advance of new LP arriving early 2018, so be looking for tour announcements around that time as well. I love love loved their debut album that came out (gasp/gulp) ten years ago now. Wow, can "Electric Feel" really be that old? (Yes) Anyway, I like the sounds in this track and the sentiment -- not of actual depression but just a little, almost playful, toe-dip into the darkness - definitely shown in the Cure-esque video.
