There were quite a few in our group (ahem, Kerri) who didn't really get Grísalappalísa. I thought they were awesome and was grinning like a fool through their whole crazy set. They're a bit like an old school punk band, with flavors of ska and a lot of quirk. Here, check out this video to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Jo Goes Hunting - Winner
One of the more fun and crazy acts we saw was Dutch artist Jo Goes Hunting. The show was an eclectic and energetic mix that's a bit hard to describe. It was very, very fun and a bit of a spectacle. Here's a video to give you an idea:
Pinegrove - Intrepid
I've seen Pinegrove several times, and they're awesome. Their show at Airwaves was a blast, and I found out just after getting back that their fabulous new single "Intrepid" was out, so here it is. Enjoy!
